A moment to remember…

Over the weekend, I had the privilege of conducting a photoshoot for Jordyn, a senior embarking on a new chapter in life. During the session, I kept various factors in mind, acknowledging the significance of senior photos in commemorating a crucial milestone. Whether you're graduating from high school or college, these photographs signify the transition into the real world, making it vital to capture this momentous occasion.

Out of all the photoshoots I've done, this particular session with Jordyn stands out as a personal favorite, partly due to the fact that we had the opportunity to shoot at two different locations and capture various outfits, but what made it truly special was when Jordyn's friend Kirstin joined in for a few shots - it struck me that this moment was significant for both of them as they were both seniors about to embark on their own paths after high school, and that this particular photo held great meaning and sentimental value.

Jordyn’s mom came along with us on Saturday. Jordyn's mother was a great help in ensuring that Jordyn looked her best before I captured the shot. Her presence also showed me that she was cherishing these final moments with Jordyn before she graduates from high school. During the shoot, I managed to snap a few pictures of Jordyn and her mom, but my favorite shot was the one where Jordyn's mom was fixing her tassel - what made it special was that it was an unplanned, candid moment that truly captured the love and affection her mother has for her.
